6.c - Problems Viewing Certain Documents and Files from Courses

Viewing certain types of files located on Blackboard require that students have particular software applications and viewers installed on their home computers. Examples of documents that require specific software and/or viewers are:

  • Microsoft PowerPoint Presentations (.ppt)
  • Microsoft Word Documents (.doc)
  • Adobe Reader Documents (.pdf)
  • Macromedia Shockwave Flash (.swf)
  • Windows Media Files (.wmv)
