1.b - Logging onto Blackboard the first time

Once you have obtained your NSU Username, you are ready to login to Blackboard for the first time. If you have never logged into Blackboard at NSU before, please follow these instructions closely. You may wish to print these instructions so that you can follow them step by step.

1. Open an Internet Browser (such as Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator).
   
   
2. In the Address (or Location) bar enter the Internet address for the NSU Homepage (www.nsuok.edu) and press enter to navigate to the homepage; then scroll your mouse over "Hot Links" and choose "Blackboard" from the drop-down menu:
   
   
   
   
   
3. This will open the Blackboard Splash page with important information about the Blackboard system. Here you will either click on the Blackboard Icon, or the "Click Here" link:
   
   
   
   
4. This will open the Blackboard Login screen where you will need to type in your username and password (which you obtained by visiting the NSU Password Manager).
   
   If you have already logged into Blackboard before, and have already changed your password, you will need to enter your current password in the password field here.
   
   
5. If you have correctly entered the username into both fields, you will see the Main Page upon successfully login:
